By using our Services and browsing the Ture Website you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Use. If you do not agree to and accept these Terms of Use, you should not use or browse the Ture Website.
Ture is an online marketplace for Legal Providers. We provide an online venue to introduce legal service providers to the New Zealand public (our Members) and to allow Legal Providers to advertise Legal Services within the Website.
Ture does not participate in the provision of Legal Services advertised on the Website or any subsequent transactions between a Member and Legal Providers that are introduced via the Website. We do not provide any services listed on our Website and do not offer them for sale, nor do we act as an agent for either party. We merely provide a venue to advertise and connect the parties together through our Quote system.
While Ture does not pre-screen all Members, Legal Providers, or monitor our entire Website, if we become aware of any misuse of our Services, we can take appropriate action. This could be by issuing a warning, removing content, disabling an account, banning a Member and/or Legal Provider, or contacting the relevant authority.
Examples of this may be where a Quote does not comply with New Zealand law or infringes intellectual property rights or is misleading or offensive. We may also limit activities on our Website based on Legal Providers off-Website conduct, such as criminal convictions, insolvency, or any other conduct that puts our community or systems at risk.
You agree that we may disclose your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy that can be accessed at any time in the footer of the Website. This will include your name and contact details as well as any transactional records, Website interactions or other relevant information, to the relevant authorities, parties and/or intellectual property rights holders.
Legal Providers are responsible for preparing the Quote details and following up when a Member accepts a Quote. We do not get involved in any communications between you and Members outside of the Services and we do not participate in any part of any legal service transactions between a Member and a Legal Provider.
Member details are hosted by us in good faith but are entered by Members without verification by us. You are responsible for making your own enquiries as to Member identity that are connected through the Service in accordance with the Anti Money Laundering and Counter Financing of Terrorism Act 2009 or any other such applicable legislation.
We provide no guarantee, and accept no responsibility, for the accuracy or completeness of any information provided by Members or Legal Providers. You are responsible for:
To enable you to use and enjoy our Services, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use our Website and Services in accordance with our Terms of Use.
You may not create derivative works, adapt, reproduce, copy, store, distribute and/or publish from any part of the Website and/or commercialise and/or on-sell any information obtained from the Website and/or our Services, without our prior written permission.
Ture retains its entire intellectual property rights including the software and source code used to provide the Website and Services.
The Services and all content on our Website including but not limited to design, copy, search results, images, graphics, structure, layouts and the underlying software code are protected by copyright and trademarks and are subject to the intellectual property rights of Zig Limited and its licensors. Our logos, together with our trademarks, may not be copied or reproduced without our prior written consent. All rights are reserved, except for the limited licensed rights expressly granted in these Terms of Use and any other terms on our Website.
Fees will only be charged as outlined in the Pricing Schedule that can be accessed at any time from the Lawyer Login page on the Website.
Our current fees are explained in the Pricing Schedule from the Lawyer Login page on the Website. You will be able to review any fees before you choose to register as a Legal Provider. You agree to our Global Terms when you register. Fees must be paid when they are due. By using our Services, you agree to pay our fees in the manner and timeframe outlined in these Terms of Use, the Fee Schedule and as the Website intends and requires.
The Fee Schedule is updated from time to time. We will advise you of any changes via the email address you provide on your account.
The Website requires Legal Providers to pay fees for connections that are charged to their pre-loaded credit card when a Member selects to be connected to that Legal Provider via the Website, which can occur multiple times. This may be by the Member selecting Quotes for different pieces of legal work and/or other listed fees updated from time to time (see the Fee Schedule for pricing).
For example, where a Member has accepted a Quote from a Legal Provider listed on the site, we provide the Legal Provider with Member details by email notification. The credit card pre-loaded by you at the time of account set up (required to activate Quotes live) will then be charged the connection fee listed on the Fee Schedule.
Another example is where a Member who has already accepted a Quote from a Legal Provider chooses to accept another Quote listed on the site from the same Legal Provider, then, a connection fee will be charged for the new connection.
As noted at 1 above, Ture is an online advertising and connecting lead service for Legal Providers. This means that connecting fees are non-refundable once the connection is made regardless of whether or not you or the Member have been in contact after we have provided you with each other’s details of the accepted Quote or, whether a legal service transaction is progressed and/or completed. Regardless of any other clause in these Terms of Use, once we have provided you with Member details you are responsible for contacting the Member, completing the transaction and delivering the Services you advertise in the Quote. You also have the opportunity to turn the connection into your loyal client but We are not responsible for that.
We may change our fees. Our website will be updated when any fee change is made and is effective from such time. If we introduce a new Service, the fees for that Service are effective at the time the new Service is launched. The Pricing Schedule is available to check our current fees at any time from the Lawyer Login page on the Website.
Our fees are exclusive of GST; this means GST will be charged on top of our Fees.
Invoices will be issued at the time of the transaction and will be sent to the email address you have provided in your account settings.
Where a pre-loaded credit card payment is declined for any reason, an additional fee will be invoiced (per the Pricing Schedule – Overdue Payment Fee) to the Legal Provider for additional administration costs and the account will be suspended until the payment is made. If the credit card payment is declined the website will try again 24 hours later. In total it will attempt to recieve payment 3 times over 3 days.
Where a payment is outstanding for more than 30 days the Legal Provider may be removed and banned from the site at our sole discretion. This kind of event is a breach of these Terms of Use and is not how the Fees are intended or required to be paid as a standard matter of course by the Website. In such an event, we reserve the right to remove and/or ban the Legal Provider from our Website and Services and take any legal action available to us at any time, regardless of anything else stated in these Terms of Use.
We strive to improve our Website and Services. Improvements may involve changing features and the like or, we may replace, suspend, or cease any Service altogether. We may also add new Services. We will notify you, usually by email, of any scheduled change to Services.
We do not pre-check Legal Providers joining the Website, but we do have some eligibility terms. To become a Legal Provider on the Website you must:
By registering as a Legal Provider on our Website you agree that you meet the eligibility terms listed above a) to e).

If we have restricted or prohibited your access to our Services, we will have done this for a reason and we will tell you why if we are able to. You agree not to bypass these controls. For example, you agree not to create a new account. If we have explained why your access to our Services has been restricted or prohibited, we reserve the right to cease further correspondence with you.
If your Legal Provider account is deactivated (by you or by us), your ability to access our Website will end and you must stop using our Services. Our Global Terms will continue to apply after deactivation. You confirm that you have the right to grant this license to us.
We permit you to post Materials on our Website in accordance with our instructions, provided that the content is not illegal, obscene, abusive, threatening, defamatory or otherwise objectionable to us and complies with all our Terms of Use. For example, (these are not limiting examples) we may use:

Ture will contact you if do not meet the agreed Contact Timeframes. Where you repeatedly (three times or more) do not meet the agreed Contact Timeframes for whatever reason, Ture in its sole discretion may choose to suspend or disable your account. While we would not wish to do this, it is important that Ture meets the expectations of our Members and Contact Timeframes are paramount to our Service.
As reasonably possible, you agree to ensure all Quotes you list are accurate, current and include all relevant information. For example, a Quote on Ture must include an honest description of what you intend to include in the Legal Services you are providing to a Member. Specific exclusions can also be listed in a Quote to avoid any confusion and to ensure transparency.
Your Quote must comply with all relevant laws. For example: (a) you must have the right to create the Quote, e.g. do not misrepresent the services you are able to provide; (b) the Quote must be accurate and not misleading, which includes ensuring no material information is left out; (c) your Quote must not breach any legal requirement, e.g. you have the appropriate qualifications and experience to provide the services.

You must provide Quotes in New Zealand dollars and include GST in the price.
We may contact you to request further information about your Quote or the Legal Services you provide. You agree to respond to our reasonable requests.
Star Rating is our Feedback function that allows Members to rate their experience with Legal Providers on the Website. Feedback is important to us and we hope it is important to you too. The feedback our Members provide you with through Star Rating is valuable information for you and other Members to consider.
We will not be involved in any Star Rating assessment that a Member gives to any Legal Provider. You agree not to contact us if you do not agree with a Star Rating that a Member has given you. The nature of feedback is that it is subjective and provided it is genuine to the Member we will not interfere with their honest opinion. Our system does not allow us to change Star Ratings once they have been given by a Member.
Legal Providers work hard to earn great feedback and Members rely on the feedback. Unless we give specific prior approval, your account is not transferable and cannot be sold, leased, lent or traded.
The system allows a member gets two changes to change a Star Rating for each Accetped Quote.
You agree to try to resolve any disputes you have with Members directly with them and not to include us. Please remember that we are not a party to any transaction between you and a Member. We will not provide any additional information about a Member to another party without their express consent or unless we are required by New Zealand law.
The intention of our Service is to connect New Zealanders with Legal Providers like you, so they can get access to quality Legal Services. We want to work with you to do this. However, if you have a dispute with our Service, then let us talk and try to resolve it informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party can look to resolve a dispute or seek any remedy available through any legal method available. If this is the case, then, in the first instance, you agree to genuinely engage in Mediation in good faith and at the shared cost of the parties before any further legal action is taken. This does not include disputes with outstanding Fees.
We will use the contact details you have provided to us to contact you about a dispute.

If you breach our Terms of Use and where we believe it is appropriate, we may limit what you can do on the Website, remove your Quotes, or other content, warn Members of your actions, issue you with a warning, suspend, terminate and/or blacklist you from our Website (and any associates). This does not intend to limit any other rights and remedies available to Ture.
Lack of immediate action on a breach or our Terms of Use does not mean that we cannot take action at a later time and/or that we give up any rights.
You agree to indemnify, defend us and hold us, and our affiliated companies, shareholders, officers, directors, employees, agents or suppliers, harmless against any claims or demands made by yourself or any third party that is in any way related to: (a) your access to or use of our Service; (b) your failure to complete a transaction; (c) infringement by you of any intellectual property or other right of any other person or entity; (d) your breach of these Terms of Use; or (e) any Materials that you submit, post, transmit or make available through our Services. Our Website instructions govern how and what Legal Providers can Quote and how our Members can use Ture. You agree to follow the how-to instructions of the Website.
A Quote is a legally binding offer. When a Legal Provider lists a Quote on Ture, they should do so with the intention of selling their Services as advertised through the Website for the price advertised. A Legal Provider’s Quote to a Member can list what is and what is not included in the price. The intention is to be transparent with our Members so that they may feel confident about what they are getting upfront and at what cost. Legal Providers can also list a per hour rate for any work not included in the Quote relating to the Legal Services in the Quote.
Legal Providers must provide Quotes to our Members in New Zealand dollars and include GST in the price.
Star Rating is our Feedback function that allows Members to rate their experience with Legal Providers on the Website. Feedback is important to us and we hope it is important to you too. The feedback our Members provide to Legal Providers through Star Rating is valuable information for other Members and Legal Providers to consider.
In the main, we will not be involved in any Star Rating assessment that a Member gives to any Legal Provider. The nature of feedback is that it is subjective and provided it is genuine to the Member we will not interfere with their honest opinion.
In the rare instance that we change or remove Member feedback about a Legal Provider, it would be at our absolute discretion and would require compelling evidence. Any decision regarding a Star Rating is at our full and final discretion.
Any feedback should relate to the specific transaction and not any other transaction. Legal Providers work hard to earn great feedback and Members rely on the feedback. You agree to provide an honest rating to a Legal Provider and not use the rating system to do anything dishonest or unfair.
As a Member, you agree to try to resolve any disputes you have with Legal Providers directly with them and not to include us. Please remember that we are not a party to any transaction between you and a Legal Provider. Our obligation ends when we have connected a Member with a Legal Provider, selected through our Website.
We will not provide any additional information about a Member or Legal Provider to another party without their express consent or unless we are required by New Zealand law.
The intention of Ture’s free Services to our Members is to connect you with Legal Providers and to provide free information about the law. IIf you have a dispute with our Services, then let us talk and try to resolve it informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party can look to resolve a dispute or seek any remedy available through any legal method available. If this is the case, then, in the first instance, you agree to genuinely engage in Mediation in good faith and at the shared cost of the parties before any further legal action is taken.
We will use the contact details you have provided to us to contact you about a dispute.
Ture is a New Zealand owned and operated Service. These Members Terms of Use are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any and all disputes with us will be resolved in New Zealand.

By browsing our Website, using our Services or registering as a Member or Legal Provider of Ture, you agree to our Global Terms. If you do not accept our Global Terms you must immediately stop using our Services or browsing our Website.
